It’s been a full month in soapland so far, but the coming week threatens to change all that for many residents as death knocks at the door.
Ian Beale (Adam Woodyatt) finds himself in imminent danger in EastEnders when Sharon (Letitia Dean) decides to kill her husband with one last meal. The question is whether she will succeed.
Meanwhile, on Coronation Street, Abi Franklin (Sally Carman) faces the wrath of Ray Crosby (Mark Frost) before becoming dizzy and falling to the ground. Is she going to be okay?
Tracey Metcalfe (Amy Walsh) and Eric Pollard (Chris Chittell) are in mortal danger in Emmerdale after Kane Dingle (Jeff Hordley) brakes the latter’s car.
Finally, Martina Devereaux’s (Kelle Bryan) life is in danger in Hollyoaks as the Channel 4 soap cuts back to five episodes a week.
It’s coming out this week, that’s for sure, and if you can’t wait, we’ve picked out a few highlights to whet your appetite.
Faye confessed in Coronation Street

In her desperation to free herself, Faye opens up to Craig and tells him how Ray tried to rape her. Craig drums on, with Faye admitting that she cheated on him, slept with Ray and ended up accidentally attacking Adam. With Craig’s help, Faye finally made it to the police station.
Frankie and Mick face each other in the EastEnders

Frankie finds Mick in the square and urges him to give him some answers about Katie. But Mick is distracted by Tina, and so he freezes, leaving Frankie to contemplate his future. Later she wished Mick a happy birthday and told him she was leaving today.
Eric and Tracy in mortal danger in Emmerdale

Tracy thinks she’s going into labor, so Eric gets her car keys from the garage to take her to the hospital. Eric soon realizes that the brakes aren’t working, and he’s getting ready to strike – when Tracy screams out in horror!
Ste gives James a letter of complaint to Hollyoaks

James gives a verbal warning to Ste. for harassing him at work at home. Eventually Steve tells Marnie, and – not satisfied that James has undermined his authority – Marnie gets James to admit that he is responsible, allowing Steve to send a formal letter of complaint about harassment to him!
Elaine and Yasmin working together inCoronation Street

Yasmin is having problems, so Elaine offers to help him with Speed Daal. Later, they walked around with Elaine the Chihuahua. There is some conflict when Evelyn makes sarcastic comments about silly dogs, but when Elaine explains that Tinker Bell is a rescue dog, Evelyn warms up.
Sharon prepares to kill Ian in EastEnders.

Ian’s fateful day arrives when Sharon finally plans her revenge and prepares a dinner for her husband – and it’s to die for.

Mandy proposes to Paul and he accepts – much to Winnie’s dismay. But over the course of the week, Paul finally concedes his game to Mandy, who kicks him out.
Toby tries to kill Martina in Hollyoak.

Toby goes crazy and locks Martina in the garage. Celeste is furious that her brother is pulling down the blinds, and when she asks him what he’s doing, Toby tells her he’s going to kill her mother! Martina is stuck in the garage while Toby sprays the entire building with gasoline and Celeste is in shock.
Abi’s in mortal danger on Coronation Street.

Abi gets the evidence she needs to turn Ray in, but she tells him she’ll give it to him if he admits he tried to rape Faye. Ray agrees as long as she removes the images, but Abi quickly becomes dizzy and collapses. Is she going to be okay?
Darling is devastated by Jay’s words in EastEnders.

Jay tells Billy that his kiss with Honey was nothing but a mistake, and this rehearsal gives Billy confidence. But Darling heard everything – and Jay soon found out.
Coronation Street is broadcast on ITV on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays. EastEnders airs on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday. Emmerdale airs Monday to Friday on ITV. Hollyoaks airs Monday through Friday on E4.
