Mandalore director Bryce Dallas Howard comments on the possibility of Grogue turning to the dark side. The Kid, also known as Little Yoda and now Grogu, has won the hearts of Star Wars fans around the world. However, season 2 of the hit Disney+ series revealed a number of possible dark secrets about the character, allowing fans to theorize his transition to the dark side. Will Dave Filoni and Jon Favreau really bring a cute little creature to the dark side?

In a new interview Bryce Dallas Howard was asked about his work on Mandalorian Season 2. Howard went back to chapter 11: Heiress after filming the last episode of the season. That said, she knows a lot more about the future of the Disney+ series than many people, which means she can’t say much when asked about the darker side of Grogu’s theories. That’s what Howard should have said.

Well, I will certainly not share the speculation because I know. But I’ll say that the joy of working with Baby Yoda for me is that even though she’s a cute and intoxicating creature, you can’t play that note more than once, right? It was a big part of the trip for Mando and Kid in the first season, but in the second season there is an opportunity for the character of Kid – who, by the way, is not a toddler, but is completely middle-aged after human years. But to understand: Okay, who is it? And it’s not just binary.

George Lucas introduced the world to the light and dark sides of the Force over 40 years ago. In the years following the release of A New Hope, fans of Star Wars have learned a lot about how the Force works and what it can do to people. It is not always easy to stand on the side of the light or shadow of the Force. Bryce Dallas Howard explains.

Part of the power of what George [Luke] has created is that it treats light and darkness in a way that is not binary, and shows that the best of us have the ability to do terrible things. And the worst of us have the ability to do extraordinary things. Thematically, of course, this will play a role in every Star Wars story. I’m all for giving more life to the characters.

While Bryce Dallas Howard couldn’t say much about the Mandalorians and Grogu’s movement to the dark side of the Force, she seemed to suggest it could happen. Nobody knows yet how the second season will end, but we will know it all in less than 24 hours. Having said that, we can’t imagine Grogu joining the bad guys this time, even though anything can happen.

The fans of Star Wars are trying to find out if Dean Jarin will succeed in his mission to free Groga from Moff Gideon. There are a lot of messages and rumours going around these days, but only a handful of people know what Dave Filoni and Jon Favreau have planned for everyone.
