After a chaotic few weeks on SmackDown between Roman Reigns and Kevin Owens, it all comes down to the final men’s match of the Royal Rumble before the World Championship. Adam Pearce managed to drag Owens into this situation after some contract shenanigans and now it’s time for Owens to do his part and beat Reigns. Owens came out first, then Roman Reigns came up the ramp with Paul Heyman by his side, though no Jay Uso was interesting enough.

Owens ran into Reigns, but he dropped Superman moments later and knocked Owens down. Owens got up and dodged a spear from Reigns with a high kick, then hit Reigns with a clusterbomb, but Reigns got up for a count of 4.

Reigns then intercepted Owens, but Owens got up and threw Reigns to the command post. The queen turned him around and threw Owens, shoulder to shoulder, down the steel stairs. He was followed by a spear that knocked him to the ground.

The reigns waited until Owens got up, then lifted the steel shovels and slammed them on Owens. He picked her up and punched Owens in the face, causing him to fall to the ground. He lets it celebrate and then hits it again on the steps, sending Owens back to the floor. Owens got up and kicked Reigns in the face, knocking him off his feet and losing the steps with his hands.

Owens slapped King’s face on the steps three times, then threw it at the LED screens several times. Reigns stood up and Owens first hit his head against more LED screens and then kicked him in the face. Owens then grabbed the steel shovels and slammed them on Reigns, sending him to the equipment table.

Owens then got up and grabbed a chair, but Tsarit punched him in the eye. Reigns hits Owens in the ribs with a chair, but Owens fights back. They exchanged attacks until Owens gave Raines a huge punch in the face, then grabbed a chair and kicked him in the knees and legs before slamming the chair into Raines’ back. The supreme leader recovered with several attacks that injured Owens and then tried to push him to the edge of the abyss, but Owens knocked him out and dropped him to the edge of the abyss instead. Reigns hit Owens with a Superman kick, then threw Owens into the tables, breaking him in half.

Still, Owens got up on time. Owens felt the pain and went backstage for an unknown reason. He kept walking until he came across a practice ring backstage. Suddenly, Reigns collided with Owens in the golf cart, and the collision resulted in the destruction of a windshield.

Owens was down, but he got up after a count of 9 and Reigns put him back on his feet with strikes. Owens got up to a count of 8 and before Reigns could attack him again, Owens hit him with a pop-up that bombarded him on the table. Owens then stood up and splashed Reigns, breaking the table. He’s barely 9 years old, and his legs are spaghetti by then.

Owens sent the Kings to the ground again and then grabbed the ladder. Owens slammed the ladder into Reigns’ face, leaving him on the table. Owens then climbed into the forklift and picked up the pallet. Then he picked up the pallet and climbed on it, jumping and hitting the guard on top of Reigns, breaking the table beneath him. The referee started the count, Owens got up and Reigns got up for the count of 9, but soon felt it was over.

Owens dragged Reigns further into the concession area, and Reigns was bleeding in several places. Owens drags Reigns back into the ring and the referee resumes the count. Reigns will beat him, but then they’ll turn the tables and beat Owens through the LED screen. He almost got knocked out, but he rolled off the stage and eventually got back up and beat the score by 9 points.

Roman then got the handcuffs off and tried to pin Owens down, but Owens stopped him and slammed Reigns into the lighthouse. Owens then cuffed the reins over a light construction. He should have counted after that, but Reigns hit the referee against the post and knocked him down before he could make the count.

Then he hit Owens with a vicious punch that knocked him to the ground. At that point Heyman went out to get him out of handcuffs, but a new referee came out and started counting down. After a while (a long time where the referee even stopped counting because it took too long), Heyman managed to get hold of the reins, and as soon as he did, he immediately went to apply the guillotine to Owens, who looked like he was about to pass out.

The judge started counting, and that’s all she wrote for Owens.
