Anwar Hadid clarified his statement after he said he did not intend to obtain the coronavirus vaccine when it became widely available. He said he would speak more consciously about this issue in the future.

When a follower asked the 21-year-old during a question-and-answer session about Instagram whether he was ready to be vaccinated, he answered: No, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no: I’m not gonna do that.

When asked why he was against smallpox, he answered, “Either I don’t understand, or I voluntarily get antibodies instead of making the process unnatural, our bodies are designed by the creator to do much more than we think.

Model Anwar, brother of the models Gigi and Bella Hadid, stressed that he was not against smallpox, but that he wanted to know how to protect myself and others.

He explained that he had already been vaccinated, but as a person with a weakened immune system he wanted more information about the Covid 19 vaccine.

In a message that has since left his Instagram story, Anwar said that I’m not against smallpox, but I think each individual should be careful with each vaccine and weigh up the pros and cons.

I’ve already been vaccinated, but as someone with a weakened immune system, I want to keep learning about the many ways I can protect myself and others.

Anwar added that he never intended to offend anyone with my words and I am very grateful to all the frontline staff and doctors and the powerful work they have done during this time.

I’m just listening and talking.

Anwar, like her mother and sisters, has Lyme Disease, a bacterial infection that people can get from the bites of infected ticks.

He stressed that he had not taken a position on his earlier remarks.

Honestly, it was just a thought he was pursuing, but I can’t expect you all to know where my heart and head are, and I’ll be more aware of where I went wrong (sic).

Anwar, who dates singer Dua Lipa, is not the first celebrity to be noticed for her controversial views on the coronavirus vaccine.

Black Panther star Letitia Wright deleted her social media accounts after sharing an anti-vaxxer video interrogating the vaccine, while the Offset rapper said he wouldn’t get it because he doesn’t trust the government.

More recently singer Ted Nugent called the vaccine a fake and said that people who wear face masks are sheep.
