We have seen strong teams in the history of the NBA. From the Chicago Bulls, led by Michael Jordan, who won 72-10, to the duo of Stephen Curry and Klay Thompson who help the Golden State Warriors win 73-9, the NBA has some great teams to choose from when it needs a superstar fight. But which team of former and current players would be best?

These super teams are formed from a pool of referees made up of players who have played for this franchise. Based on a subjective selection, these players were chosen among the best players in franchise history to make a starting line-up.

It is no mistake that the super track and field team had all the top five members in the history of the franchise. These five players have contributed to the small San Antonio market with the fifth largest (5) in the history of the NBA Championship.

Starting with Tony Parker, Manu Ginobili and Tim Duncan’s Big Three, the Spurs have won four NBA titles. Parker is the franchise leader for assists, Ginobili is the franchise leader for goals and three-point sticks, and Duncan is the franchise leader for games played, points, goals and rebounds. All three of them are Hall of Fame players.

David Robinson won the title with Duncan in 1999 and was also on the team in 2003. Robinson ended his career as a leader of all time in bouldering and was All-Star 10 times. Robinson did all this after missing the first two years of his career because of his time in the Navy. Meanwhile, George Gervin was the second top scorer in a career in which he was a member of the first team of the NBA for five consecutive years, from 1978 to 1982.

Golden State Warriors Super Team Legendary

Stephen Curry, Clay Thompson, Rick Barry…

Kevin Durant, Wilt Chamberlain.

Before we get to today’s players, let’s talk about the automatic bucket that was Wilt Chamberlain. His 100 points per match remains an NBA record and will probably never be broken. Chamberlain was 13-time All-Star and was the competition’s top scorer for seven consecutive seasons from 1960 to 1966. At that time, the central position was essential, and the treasurer was a beast.

Some may not remember Rick Barry, but his 36.3 points per game are the most points per game in the NBA finals in the history of the league. He is also the only player who reached the 50 mark in the seventh game of the play-offs in both leagues. After playing for the San Francisco Warriors, Barry went over to the American Basketball Association and became the top scorer of the league (30.5 points per game). He is one of four players who have won the NBA and ABA Championships.

When it comes to today’s Big Three, consisting of Stephen Curry, Klay Thompson and Kevin Durant, this team was the true definition of a great team. Together with Draymond Green, Curry and Thompson helped the Warriors win 73 matches before losing to the Cleveland Cavaliers in the NBA final. In total, Curry, Thompson and Green won three NBA titles. After the Warriors set an NBA-winning record, Kevin Durant joined the team and won two MVP trophies in the NBA finals and helped win the Golden State two championships in 2017 and 2018. Curry, Thompson and Durant are still recovering and could build on their already impressive CVs.

Legendary Miami Heat Super Team

Dwayne Wade, Jimmy Butler, LeBron James…

Chris Bosch, Alonzo Sorrow…

We’ve already talked about the talents of LeBron, but it’s interesting to note that James de Heat has led to four NBA finals and two championships. In 2010 James and Chris Bosh signed an agreement with Dwayne Wade to form the Big Three. At that time, Wade had already won a championship in 2006. All three will be included in the Hall of Fame in their first match.

Bosh left Toronto as the all-time leading scorer and had a successful six-year stint in Miami. Before a vital problem forced Bosh to take early retirement, he averaged 18.0 points, 9.4 rebounds and 1.2 block. As for Wade, he left Miami as the leader of his career in games played, scores, free throws, points and assists.

In a central position we could probably prefer Shaq, but Alonzo Mourning did pretty well. Deuil spent 11 years in Miami and is the all-time leader in bouldering (1,625). Mourning served as a veteran role and voice during Heat’s run for the championship and ended his career as double defensive player of the year.

Have we seen a better option than Jimmy Butler at the other guard post? Of course, Butler has a small sample, but he comes from a season where he led the Heat to the NBA finals. As for the other great goalkeepers in the history of Heat, names like Mario Chalmers, Goran Dragic and Tim Hardaway come to mind. So far, it’s safe to say that Mr. Butler has had the greatest impact on his current team. Too bad this Heat team never met the Warriors in the NBA finals.

Legendary Chicago Bulls Super Team

Derrick Rose, Michael Jordan, Scotty Pippen…

Dennis Rodman, Artis Gilmore…

Of course, three members of the arena leading two different pets had to be on the list. Jordan’s 6-0 record in the NBA finals is often cited as the main reason why LeBron is the second best player in NBA history. Jordan has the franchise record for points, rebounds, assists and flights. His offensive partner, Scottie Pippen, was not only the team’s second best option, but also one of the best players of all time. Pippen is one of six players who have scored more than 3,000 points, 1,000 rebounds and 1,000 assists in their playoff career.

The only statistic Jordan doesn’t have is blocks, and these belong to a large center in Artis Gilmore, which ended in 1029. Gilmore also has the record for the highest percentage of shots on goal, finishing his career as a bullfighter with 58.7%. If Dennis Rodman played alongside Gilmore, this Bulls team would have two of the best defenders of the red zone in the history of the NBA. Rodman was defensive player of the year twice before joining the Bulls. When Rodman played in Chicago, he led the league by bouncing in all three championship seasons.

As for Derrick Rose, the Bulls could win a championship in Chicago if Rose doesn’t take the ACL off him. Rose finished the 2010-11 season as the youngest MVP in the history of the NBA. Rose ended the season with 25.0 points, 7.7 assists and led the competition in the offensive plus/minus box (6.3). Rose hasn’t been the same explosive player since 2012. With a healthy Rose and Co, it would be an NBA grand final against a great Lakers team.

Legendary Los Angeles Lakers Super Team

Magic Johnson, Kobe Bryant, LeBron James…

Kareem Abdul-Jabbar, Shaq O’Neil.

Of course, Magic Johnson has to run the franchise on top of the guard. Johnson was a basketball wizard and could perform just about any pass. According to Advanced Analytics, Johnson ended his career with an attendance rate of more than 40%, eight times. Just before being diagnosed HIV positive and forced to retire, Johnson ended the season with an attendance rate of 49.3 percent. He ended his career with assistance in 40.9% of the Lakers’ offensive actions.

If you shoot on guard, it’s impossible to get past Kobe Bryant and his 33,643 career points. Bryant’s 81 points for the 2005-06 season were the second highest in the history of the NBA. Playing with LeBron James would give the team a great team in modern times. James is in third place on the top score list of all times (34.263) and outperforms Bryant last season. Bryant and James won an Olympic gold medal together, so who knows what this team, surrounded by Hall of Fame talent, could achieve.

If the Lakers needed a basket, they could give it to Kareem Abdul-Jabbar, who scored 38,387 points, the highest score of his career. The opposing teams could then try to stop the 1.80m and 1.80kg central Shaq. O’Neal could go down in history as the best center of all time, not only for his size, but also for his ability to play downhill. O’Neal has led the league ten times in percentage of goals scored on the field. If he was in the painting, you couldn’t stop him. In general one wonders who will have the firepower to stop this team as a whole.
