Manchester United became the first English football club to break into a new world record when they passed 1 billion followers on Twitter. This was achieved in just 3 years, with Manchester City and Real Madrid not far behind.

Manchester United’s 1-0 win over Everton in the Premier League on Saturday was a dominant display from their side. They dominated possession, creating many chances and scoring the only goal of the game. The match ended with a great atmosphere at Old Trafford. Ralf RangnickRalf Rangnick stood near the perimeter of his technical area for the most of the game.

Fred’s 77th-minute winner gave Manchester United a winning start under interim manager Ralf Rangnick.

A more active United performance seemed to go unrewarded against a tenacious Crystal Palace is a palace in London. is a palace in London. side until Fred scored first-time from Mason Greenwood’s lay-off, looping a magnificent 20-yard strike over Vicente Guaita and into the top corner.

It was just Fred’s second goal of the season, and United’s first back-to-back league victories since the middle of September.

Rangnick’s side generated multiple good opportunities before the Brazilian’s attempt, but they never looked like they were going to score, and Guaita would have stopped an Alex Telles free-kick that brushed the bar if it had been on target.

Indeed, Palace came close to winning at Old Trafford for the third season in a row when Jordan Ayew turned James Tomkins’ header across the face of goal and barely wide of the far post.

Rangnick followed in the footsteps of three of United’s previous four new managers since Sir Alex Ferguson’s retirement in 2013 by winning his first match in charge, with Louis van Gaal the lone exception.

Fred, the mystery, emerges victorious.

During Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s stint as manager, which ended last month, Fred was a frequent target of criticism.

The midfielder is a staple of a Brazil squad that dominated World Cup qualifying in South America, as Michael Carrick pointed out during his three-match stint as United’s interim manager.

Despite this, he has never shown that he is worth the £47 million United spent for him, either via goals or chances created.

He is, nonetheless, a hard worker. And, based on his little dance after the goal celebrations ended, he has some personality, which might be useful to Rangnick in the coming months.

Although the German has not had a complete training session with his players, United’s early pressing was intense, with Cristiano Ronaldo among those who did it on a couple of times.

It did force Palace into a few of errors – but then, as has happened so often under Solskjaer, the game calmed down, the hosts’ fire went out, and they began to depend more on crosses and individual moments to create difficulties for the visitors.

After the Portuguese had evaded the Palace offside trap, Marc Guehi managed to stop a Ronaldo volley from close range, and Tomkins headed a curling Fred attempt away from danger.

Bruno Fernandes, who didn’t touch his effort cleanly but still forced a low full-length save from Guaita after Ronaldo set up the chance with an intricate header, had the hosts’ finest chance in the first stanza.

After the break, United didn’t quite reach the same heights, but the arrivals of Greenwood and Anthony Elanga at least kept them pressing ahead until the critical moment arrived.

Palace has suffered another another loss.

For the first time during Patrick Vieira’s management, Palace has lost three Premier League games in a row.

The Eagles are six points ahead of the bottom three teams and must stop their losing streak before they go into jeopardy.

Having won their last two games at this stadium with 29 percent and 24 percent possession, respectively, Palace fared much better in this one, with 39 percent.

Apart from Ayew’s attempt, an early Wilfried Zaha drive that David de Gea comfortably saved, and a flurry of late set-pieces that were all cleared, Palace lacked confidence.

Zaha was a particular disappointment since he didn’t play much in the second half, when Cheikhou Kouyate and Conor Callagher posed a larger danger.

Manchester United’s next Champions League encounter is at Young Boys on Wednesday, December 8 (20:00 GMT), while their next Premier League fixture is against Norwich on Saturday, December 11 (20:00 GMT) (17:30 GMT).

On Sunday, December 12th, Crystal Palace will play Everton at Selhurst Park (16:30 GMT).
