Fans of Grey’s Anatomy and Gossip Girl, a new series by creator Shonda Rimes on their way to Netflix, and a trailer promise a lot of drama for Bridgerton.

Shondaland’s latest production is an old romantic drama, adapted to Julia Quinn’s best-selling books, and fans are already calling it Gossip Girl of the good old days.

The tease spirit sees Lady Julie Andrews pouring our juice over the tea, which she thinks should be spilled: You don’t know me, sweetheart, and you’ll never know me. But I warn you, dear reader, I’m sure you… Just let me know: If there’s a scandal, I’ll expose it and I’ll tell you everything.

The series follows Daphne Bridgerton, played by Phoebe Dinevor, the eldest daughter of the powerful Bridgerton family, who makes her London debut in the highly competitive Regency wedding market.

Despite the fact that at first glance she seems to have many options, her brother Daphne begins to rule out his aspirations of potential admirers, who have spurred high society on the scandalous magazine of the mysterious Lady Whistler (expressed by Lady Julia).

But there are sparks flying between Daphne and the rebellious Duke of Hastings, played by Reg Jean Page, and they are increasingly engaged in a spiritual contest, guided by society’s expectations of their future.
