The newest red light camera legislation in Michigan has been met with public outcry and a lawsuit. With the implementation of this law, drivers will be fined 100 dollars each time they pass through a stop sign that is not equipped with a crosswalk. If you are caught running one of these intersections without proper safety precautions, expect to pay up to 500 dollars for your violation on top of the fine.
