Katie Thurston, one of Chris Soules season 22’s bachelorettes, got engaged last night, and she just popped the question to fiancé Cody Kopchak. Thurston wore an 18-carat-gold engagement ring on her right hand, which had been custom designed by a jeweler in her home state of Wisconsin.

The books are about the journey of a young woman who sets out to find her own identity and romance by falling in love. The book is called ‘The Katie Chronicles: My Journey From Australia To America (And Back)’ and was published in February 2017. Before all of this, Katie was a professional model and bodybuilder.

On the season 17 finale of ABC’s “The Bachelorette,” the star accepted a proposal from her last suitor, Blake Moynes. The “Bachelorette” actress rode out into the sunset as an engaged lady after telling her last suitor, “This is the start of eternity.”
All eyes are now on her ring, which was designed by Neil Lane, a resident jeweler on Bachelor Nation. He wasn’t there, however.
Lane dropped in via Facetime, probably owing to the COVID-19 epidemic, but it was Tayshia Adams, the “Bachelorette” co-host/mentor, who sat with Moynes for his ring shopping at the New Mexico resort where the rose-filled reality program was shot. The Canadian wildlife manager chose the ideal ring for “The Bachelorette” star after looking at a variety of diamond sparklers.

Lane told Hollywood Life that meeting the final two guys each season is “very wonderful,” even if he missed the in-person ring selection this year.
The famous jeweler said, “You’re dealing with these men who have met the love of their lives.” “They’re the happiest they’ve ever been. They’re attempting to select amongst six rings that they’ve never seen before. We shoot for a long time, and much of what we see on television is probably just five to ten minutes of that. But it’s a major emotional issue.”
When Lane initially began working with “The Bachelor” series, he told Page Six, “it didn’t feel genuine at first, but people were falling in love!” ”

Clare Crawley’s Bachelorette season was brief, but she received the franchise’s largest engagement ring.

“The Bachelor” franchise has been doling out rings for nearly 20 years, and Thurston’s sparkler appears to be in line with the usual size for Neil Lane gems given out to Bachelor Nation brides-to-be. According to Life & Style, the diamonds on the show average between 3 and 4 carats in size, but the biggest ring in the franchise history was given to Clare Crawley, whose rock from Dale Moss was 5 carats. The radiant cut diamond framed with accent diamonds and an encrusted band is estimated to be worth more than $100,000, the outlet noted.
Of course, if a Bachelor Nation engagement doesn’t work out, the ring goes with it. “There’s some regulation, I don’t know what it is, honestly, what the contract is, but after a certain number of years or something, you get to keep it anyway,” former host Chris Harrison told Entertainment Weekly. But if it’s been months, you know… it’ll come back.”
