LOS ANGELES, CBSLA – The Dodgers won the seventh championship in franchise history on Tuesday night with a 3-1 victory at the Tampa Bay Rays. And when they see how the game went, they can thank Ray’s manager, Kevin Cash. Kash’s decision to take Blake Snell out of the game in the sixth set seems to have been the first step the Dodgers needed to come back and consolidate their victory.

After five rounds of work, Snell went on a cruise Tuesday night. He gave up hitting nine times and didn’t go there to defend himself. Round six began with Snell forcing A.J. Pollock to stop before he allowed Austin Barnes’ bachelors to come in.
The Rays, one of the most analytical teams in baseball, rarely allowed pitchers to go around for a third time, as the data shows that hitting players is often more difficult when they see pitchers for the third time on a certain night. Snell, the former Sai Yang winner, hasn’t gone six innings in any game this season.
And yet he only made 73 pitches and the Dodgers’ lead team was on its way. Although six hits were recorded against Mookie Betts, Cory Seeger and Justin Turner, Snell was postponed.
What happened after that? The stakes have doubled with the release of Nick Anderson. Barnes met Anderson’s wild field, when Bets met Bets on the field chosen by Corey Seeger. Here we go, 2-1 Dodgers. These are all the drinks they need to close the case.
I didn’t want Mookie or Seeger to see Blake for the third time, Kash said after the game. There was no plan. Whatever people think, there’s no plan.
But even Betts himself said after the game that he was very happy that they took Snell out of the game when they did.
That’s what I am: Thank you, thank you, thank you, thank you. Said Betts in an interview on the MLB network. He was spinning. He was a great player. I don’t quite understand why (it’s been removed), I won’t ask any questions. I’ll just be glad we’re winners.
Kash’s decision to take Snell out of the game led to a strong reaction from the sports world that challenged the decision.
I’m still in shock. How do we get Blake Snell out of the game? I don’t care what the analysts say. Drive me FULL.

I’m surprised the dance at the Dodger shelter didn’t break out when Blake Snell was removed.

Blake Snell should publicly demand a deal the next time he’s on Twitter.

I’ve been waiting my whole life for the Dodgers to win the World Series and I feel really bad about what just happened to Blake Snell.

Snell was visibly unhappy at the moment, and after the match he said he was disappointed that he had been shot when he did.
Definitely disappointed, angry. I don’t know. I don’t know. I don’t know. I just want the ball. I had a great time. I thought I’d done everything I could to improve my business to stay in it, Snell said. It’s gonna be hard. I know it’s the third time on the list, but I think I’ll make the necessary adjustments when I see it for the third time. I just believe in myself.
We don’t know what would have happened if Snell had stayed in the game. But one thing’s for sure, the Dodgers are glad he didn’t do it.
