The cowboy’s owner, Jerry Jones.

Jerry Jones, the owner of the Dallas Cowboys, did not mince his words and talked about the release of the Dontari Poe’s nose-grip, which was published Wednesday.

Commenting on ESPN’s Chris Mortensen, the brutal honest Jones said that Poe had been thrown on the field because of his poor condition and later because of his unpleasant play.

If you’re 50 pounds overweight and you’re doing nothing to prevent a good performance on the field, there’s no reason to do anything else, Jones told NFL insiders Wednesday night.

Mortensen clicked on another – the decision to get down on his knees while playing the national anthem, the only cowboy of the season to challenge the Jones administration on the national banner with stars. The King of the Front Office has pointed out that his axes have less to do with politics than with performance.

I understand your question, and I won’t answer it on purpose, Mr. Jones. We have a platform here, but the platform of the soccer field is of a high standard, and [Po] does not meet that standard. He had to fix it, but he didn’t. I’ll leave it at that.

Po, who signed a two-year contract with a $9 million free agent with a $3.5 million guarantee, should lead Dallas’ top seven players to support the replacement of Malick Collins, who came out of the season. Instead, the double professional resembled her ex-husband’s ball, with only seven balls of 266 snaps that often hit the ball.

Unknown to many, the 1.80 m, 340-foot, the young man had weekly weighting incentives built into his contract, up to a total of $500,000. Mortensen says we don’t know how much he’s collected, if he does.

Still, Poe is the primary defensive leader of the Cowboys in the worst league, giving the Cowboys 178.3 yards per game – literally a sieve for every opponent who goes on the attack. According to ESPN analyst Seth Walder, the 30-year-old finished last in the victory on the road and ran with a stop ratio below all NFL TDs in the qualifying round.

Po was one of three victims (and counting?) when 2-5 Dallas again knew the list that began Tuesday when basketball player Everson Griffen was traded to a 2021 conditional draft for the Detroit Lions in the sixth round. The team also slaughtered the defense of veteran Daryl Worley, who came in low season and was also disappointed.

They make mistakes. Go on, Jones. We’re moving on, but we’re not giving up.

Jerry updates Dalton’s status

Mortensen changed Poe’s subject to Andy Dalton, the starting quarterback, who is on the league’s record for concussions after an illegal helmet strike in Sunday’s loss in Washington.

Andy has a report [of the concussion] and the doctor will make that decision, said Jones from week eight in Dalton.

Dalton didn’t train on Wednesday, and aside from the speed, it looks like he’ll miss Sunday night’s divisional break in Philadelphia. At the beginning of the seventh lap Ben DiNucci should start instead of the Red Rifle, and Garrett Gilbert probably operates under the number 2 KB.

The cowboys are also expected to sign a long-term support contract with Roof Prescott Cooper Rush for the training session, which will serve as additional insurance, NFL Network reported Wednesday.
