In 1986, the film Short Circuit was re-released by the Spyglass Media Group and offered a new perspective on classic fantasy comedy. Eduardo Cisneros and Jason Schumann have been commissioned to give the script of the family film a Latin touch, although the details of the story are not yet known. It is likely that the revival of the short film will follow the same story as the original, but with the original characters.
Directed by John Bedham, S.S. Wilson and Brent Maddock, the original short film stars Ellie Sheedy, Steve Guttenberg, Fisher Stevens, Austin Pendleton, Tim Blaney and J. Clinton. It focuses on an experimental military robot called Number 5, which receives human intelligence after a lightning strike. With its box office debut at the top of the box office when it was released in 1986, the film is one of the most memorable fantasy films of its decade and has still not been forgotten by many fans.

Two years later a sequel was published, the first of which took place in 1988. When Maddock and Wilson reworked the script, the sequel was shot by Kenneth Johnson. Blaney also returns as the voice of number 5, with Stevens, who re-releases Ben and Michael McKeen, Cynthia Gibb and Jack Weston, also a star. This time, Number 5 (now renamed Johnny 5) was kidnapped in New York after Ben moved to the Big Apple to produce the robot’s charming toy lines. Unfortunately, the film is full of disappointing box-office figures and bad reviews, ruining the first shots to develop a third season.
Rumours about a new edition of the short circuit have been going around for years. In 2008 it was reported that Dimension Films claimed the right to reload the franchise. In the years that followed, David Foster and Steve Carr occasionally made a fresh start at the helm, with Dan Milano on board to write the script. For some reason the planned restart ended in the development hell. The Spyglass Media Group, which has taken over the rights and continues with a number of new authors, reaffirms that the concept of dimension is dead in the water.
Cisneros and Schumann are also screenwriters of the comedy Halfbrothers, which will soon appear on 4. December will appear. Among the venerated films are film stars Luis Gerardo Mendes, Connor del Rio, Jose Zúñiga, Vincent Spano, Pia Watson and Juan Pablo Espinosa. Luke Greenfield is in charge. The story follows a Mexican aviator who was shocked when he heard he had an American half-brother he didn’t know he had. They travelled together to follow their father’s journey from Mexico to the United States.
Project X Entertainment’s James Vanderbilt, Paul Neinstein and William Sherak will release a new short film, while original executive producers John W. Hyde and Terissa Kelton will return as executive producers under their Rehab Entertainment banner. Production precision Peter Oilataguerr and Vice President of Production Chris Stone will oversee the Spyglass project. This message arrives after the deadline.
