When Six Nations was suddenly stopped by the coronavirus pandemic in March, many wondered if this year’s championship would be over.

But 237 days after the suspension of the tournament, the final round of the match will take place – and so an exciting result worth waiting for.

Three teams – Ireland, England and France – can still win the tournament.

England would need a comfortable victory over Italy in Rome to keep the trio together. The goal of the title is determined by the Irish competition in France in Saturday’s final.

I think the most likely result is an English baseball game against Italy and that the Six Nations Trophy will eventually be won, said the former England international Ugo Monye in a Rugby Union podcast.

Six Nations Table Ireland can win the title with bonus points this weekend in Paris.

The different permutations are quite complex, and you can read all the details in this article.

It’s just a fact:

  • Ireland becomes champion with a bonus point against France, although a victory without bonus points may still be enough.
  • England needs a decisive victory over Italy and hopes that Ireland loses to France with a low score.
  • France can do without their two opponents if they defeat Ireland and improve the result for England.

Saturday starts with Wales v Scotland, then Italy v England and ends with France v Ireland, which is broadcast in the second (first half) before continuing to the first (second half).

England is willing and ready to do its jobEngland is willing and ready to do its job

Ireland may have the fate of the title in its hands, but England is considered a favorite for the title.

Since 2017, the Red Rose has been aiming for the first Six Nations victory and threatens the Italian team, which already relies on a wooden spoon, to go out of the running.

The Italians have lost the last 26 races of the Six Nations – a race that lasted five years.

Winning bonus points for Eddie Jones would have put France and Ireland under pressure, while the British are nervously waiting for the result in Paris.

England Jones’ head coach has had several injury problems – the six month old George Ford, full companion Elliot Daley, centre Manu Tuilaghi, prop Joe Marler and second row / Billynda Courtney Laws – the most important absences, which means he will be involved with several debutants in Rome.

Maro Itozhe and other English players have not played in England since March, after the game of the Barbarians was cancelled last week because 13 Baa Baasa players violated coronavirus protocols.

But Monier says it’s an exciting lineup that should deliver a win with bonus points – and maybe exactly one year after England’s defeat for South Africa in the final of the Rugby World Cup, the Six Nations should win.

I look at the early 15th and I see mobility and sportsmanship right in front of the park, he said.

If they want to intimidate Italy, they can do it, if they want to play away, use their hands, play at speed, they can do it.

England is ready to go to Rome and do the work.

Italy has never beaten England in a league and lost all 26 games.
In the last six sessions in six countries, England has scored four or more points, with an average gain of 33 points.
Italy finished four times with seven points from England in the Six Nations Cup, of which three times at home.

High demand for a bonus point for Ireland

Assuming England wins a bonus point in Rome, Ireland – and probably France – will certainly need the same to get a chance to rebuild Jones’ team.

Ireland aims for their fourth six-nation title in seven years, but it’s the French who are likely to make four attempts, according to Monier and the former Irish No8 Jamie Haslip.

Ireland can defend very well, but I have my doubts about their offensive game for years, Moni said.

If they want to be a force of nature, as they will be in 2018, and if they want to play a leading role in the world, their offensive game is the only thing that is likely to improve.

France has more steel this year and are more difficult to win, especially thanks to the appointment of the English Sean Edwards as defence coach.

The most important factor, and we have seen this change, is Shaun Edwards and the defense system he has installed, Heaslip added to the Rugby Union Weekly podcast.

It is aggressive and belongs to the most dominant of the six countries.

France is able to score points, they don’t get as many points as Ireland in 22 cases, but they do score more every time they are there.

Can Ireland win? Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. Can they get a bonus point? There’s a lot of demand for that.

But can France still break a side hole drilled by an Englishman?

But although doubts have been expressed about the threat of an attack from Ireland, this does not necessarily mean that France can do enough to catch up with England.

Ireland’s recent success is based on the strength of Andy Farrell, another Englishman who worked as a defensive coach in Ireland before replacing Joe Schmidt as head coach last year.

Many are waiting for Farrell and his former mentor Edwards – couples who played together in a rugby league in Wigan – to oust each other and play a low scoring game so that England can lift the trophy.

Who in recent history has done such a good job on their team that you can see that Team Andy Farrell misses more than four attempts or that Team Sean Edwards misses more than four attempts? That won’t happen, Moni said.

Ireland has made four successful attempts in just three of their 41 away games in the Six Nations Tournament.
Previously, Ireland had only made four attempts in Paris – resulting in a 43-31 defeat in 2006.
France has only won one of the last nine tests against Ireland.
In their last nine trials against Ireland, Les Bleus have scored only nine attempts and only once have they scored at least 20 points.
Ten of the last 13 meetings were decided with a clear majority.

Not only is Welsh great, but also Alum Vin Jones is always great.

As long as the journey from Scotland to Wales has no meaning for the title, the game still has real meaning for both nations.

A loss for Wales would mean they would probably finish a fifth year after winning the Grand Slam, and head coach Wayne Beerwack has already suffered three losses since he replaced Warren Gatland.

Scotland hopes to make Pivac’s difficult start even more difficult by winning Wales for the first time since 2002.

A home defeat would also have ruined things when Welsh captain Alun Vin Jones set a new world record with 149 attempts.

It’s an incredible achievement. It’s a real shame to see a match without fans, because if there was a match, a man deserves a lot, it was that same match, said Chris Ashton, a former winger from England.

Monier adds: He will go down in history – not only in the history of Wales, but also in the history of the Rugby Union – as one of the greatest players to play our game.
