The Los Angeles Lakers launched an impressive campaign last season. She proved they could cover the distance and win the NBA Championship again, silencing those who thought they had given too much to Anthony Davis.
Now Lebron James and Davis will bring him back with an even better team. Their offseason additions were excellent and although they lost Danny Greene, Javell McGee and Dwight Howard and their hard protection, they found a decent enough replacement.
Today it looks like the Larry O’Brien trophy is the downfall of the Lakers. It’s as simple as that. And they have to go back to the hardwood at the beginning of the season. In the meantime, let’s take a look at their starting grid for the 2020-21 season.
The bank: Dennis Schroeder, Alex Caruso, Zavier Simpson, Quinn Cook, Languages Horton-Tucker, Markiff Morris, Kyle Kuzma, Alfonso McKinney, Costas Antetokunmpo, Jared Dudley, Montrell Harrell, Jordan Bell.

I’m sure there’s no need to introduce this guy. Lebron James is simply one of the greatest players of his life, and his unparalleled game and basketball quotient was one of the main reasons the Lakers won the bet.
Now, Dennis Schroders’ presence will help keep Lebron fresh and perhaps relax his protocol. He will also play with the ball occasionally. As long as the king is healthy and in the lead, the Lakers will be the team that wins the competition.
Gunner: Wesley Matthews

The L.A. Lakers have replaced Danny Greene with a similar player at Wesley Matthews Jr. The only difference is that Matthews not only relies on a three-point attack, but also on working in the forbidden zone.
Matthews is a tough physical defender who can take on an even bigger opponent, and he also has a lot of play-off experience that can come in handy at any time. It is also expected that next season Alex Caruso will again play a major role on the bench where the shooter sits.

Although the L.A. Fans Lakers were hard on him for most of the year, the team made the right choice with the retirement of Kentavious Caldwell-Pope. He was an active participant in the NBA playoffs and finals, and only Frank Vogel’s team needs his defense.
Yes, we know that KCP can be a stripper and play two games in a row without scoring, but the Lakers still have Markiff Morris and Kyle Kuzma ready to go for the triple if they need a bucket, and Kentavid’s defense is just too good to live with such offensive inconsistency.

There’s not much we can say about Anthony Davis that we haven’t said yet. He had already prepared a decent resume for the Hall of Fame and spent a lot of time leading the Lakers in the ring after they moved so far away to lure him away from New Orleans.
Anthony Davis is one of the most dominant and talented two-sided players, and he has a good chance to continue his legacy as such with purple and gold. He is ready to become a new legend in an already legendary franchise for the next five seasons.

With Marc Gasol, the Gasol family circle with the Lakers is complete. Today some fans hope that Pau Gasol will also be a retired veteran with purple and golden flowers. Let’s see how it goes.
