The 18-year-old DanceWatch contestant is set to participate in the next season of the dancing show that’s not “Dancing with the Stars.”

Tyler Cameron, an online sensation for his incredible dance skills, will compete in “Dancing With the Stars” on Season 25. The show’s host, Tom Bergeron, said in a statement: “We are so excited to welcome Tyler into the ‘Dancing With the Stars’ family. He has such a unique style, he’s fun to watch and he plays to his strengths week after week. With his amazing moves, he is a clear and worthy contender for the Mirrorball Trophy.”

Tyler Cameron, a 16-year-old from South Carolina, is a student-athlete who competes on the varsity track and field team at Spring Valley High School. A fan-favorite runner-up on “The Bachelorette” is set to start a new TV show.

Tyler Cameron, the runner-up from Hannah Brown’s season of the rose-filled reality dating program, will be swapping fantasy dates for dance shoes, according to Us Weekly, although it may not be on ABC’s long-running celebrity ballroom competition.

While Cameron is a well-known member of the ABC family, a source informed the publication that the 28-year-old will be “part of a reality competition dance program,” but it will not be “Dancing with the Stars.”

Cameron hinted his dancing project when chatting on the “Chicks in the Office” podcast around a month ago, and the confirmation came about a month later. “I don’t know how much I can say about a new program I’m going on, but I’ll be dancing,” he replied when asked whether he would do any more reality shows.

He also promised the presenters of the podcast that the program will not be like “Dancing With the Stars.”

Aside from “DWTS,” there have been a number of TV dance programs on the air in recent years, including the now-defunct “World of Dance” and the celeb-centric “The Masked Dancer,” which according to Deadline has yet to be renewed by Fox.

Tyler Cameron has stated his desire to compete on ‘Dancing with the Stars.’

Cameron is well-known for his TikTok videos in which he flaunts his dancing skills. According to E! News, he reunited with Hannah Brown in March 2020 to do a dance to Megan Thee Stallion’s “Savage.”

However, the Jupiter, Florida native has always been a lover of the world of dance. Cameron stated in a 2019 interview with TV Guide that he pursued a pro football career in the goal of gaining enough recognition to be cast on “Dancing With the Stars.”

He said, “As a child, I always claimed I wanted to be on ‘Dancing with the Stars,’ and that football would be the way I got on [the program].” “My football career didn’t pan out, but [‘The Bachelorette’] may be able to help me go on ‘Dancing with the Stars’ one day.”

Cameron seems to be enthusiastic about something, even if he isn’t competing on “Dancing With the Stars.” “Got a whole lot to grin about!” he teased followers on Instagram lately. There’s a lot of exciting things coming up. “I adore you all!”

Several Bachelor Nation stars have competed in dance competitions on television.

While fans wait to see which reality dance program Cameron will participate on, it’s worth noting that “Dancing With the Stars” has had a long history of Bachelor Nation graduates.

Trista Sutter, the very first “Bachelorette” star, participated on the first season of “DWTS” in 2005. Melissa Rycroft, Jake Pavelka, Sean Lowe, Chris Soules, Nick Viall, “Grocery Store” Joe Amabile, Hannah Brown, and Kaitlyn Bristowe, according to Gold Derby, have all participated on the celebrity dance program.

Even though Brown and Bristowe won the past two mirrorball trophies on “DWTS,” it wouldn’t be surprising if someone from the ABC dating series appeared in the show’s upcoming 30th season — even if it wasn’t Cameron.
