Tickets for Universal Studios Hollywood are reserved for California residents and can be purchased starting Thursday the 8th. April, to buy online. The theme park is also celebrating Annual Pass and Season Pass members who are among the first to visit the park with a series of free bonus days from Thursday, April 15 through Sunday, April 16. May; these bonus days will be available to Annual Pass and Season Pass members starting Monday, May 5. April, reservations can be made online. Year and season ticket holders can buy their tickets from Monday the 17th. May, use it again.
Due to limited capacity, guests with non-refundable tickets purchased before the 8th day of the event will be required to attend. After more than a year of closure, Universal Studios Hollywood is ready for its big project and has begun construction on a brand new Secret Life of Pets: Get off the leash! and Jurassic World – this journey with the new dinosaur, Indominus Rex.

A walk through the cleverly themed Pets Place leads visitors to the front of Katie’s building in New York, home to the innovative film The Secret Life of Pets: Let go of the leash!
This brand new technological adventure, inspired by Illumination’s hit film, The Secret Life of Pets, answers the question: What do your pets really do when you’re not home?
This amazing new attraction combines 64 technologically advanced animated characters with hyper-realistic media and projection mapping to take guests on a journey to discover their favorite Lights characters, including Max, Snowball, Gidget, Chloe and Duke, as well as a host of other animal friends, all transformed and transported into the world of real action. From eye blinks to eyebrow movements, from head tilts to head nods, from mouth movements to smiles, from ear curls to lip curls, from torso curls to physical walking, the depth of mobility and function programmed into each of these adorable characters creates an experience unlike any other theme park.
When Universal Studios Hollywood opens, visitors will also be introduced to a new, extraordinarily realistic Jurassic dinosaur, the Indominus Rex, which takes over the final attraction after a fierce battle with its great rival, the Tyrannosaurus Rex.
This Indominus-like attraction is groundbreaking with ingenious innovations that bring new tension, excitement and intrigue to an already dynamic attraction. With a horizontal wingspan of nearly 2 meters from head to tail and a vertical wingspan of over 2 meters, Indominus’ imposing presence is enhanced by fluid, synchronized movements that offer an unprecedented level of authenticity. Whether he’s subtly blinking his eyes, flexing his arms and claws or clenching his razor-sharp jaw, the colossal Indominus rex stalks his guests from his vantage point on a hillside before they tumble down a giant waterfall to escape him.
Of course, these new experiences complement the many inviting attractions and themed worlds that await guests upon their return to Universal Studios Hollywood, including The Wizarding World of Harry Potter™, which includes the animated Hogsmeade Village and the critically acclaimed Harry Potter and the Forbidden Journey™ and Flight of the Hippogriff™, Transformers™ : Ride 3D, Revenge of the Mummy: attraction, Despicable Me’s Super Stupid Fun Land and Springfield, USA, home of America’s favorite cartoon family, The Simpsons. The theme park’s main attraction, the world-famous Studio Tour, will also be open. They take visitors behind the scenes of an authentic film and television studio where they can experience exciting attractions such as Fast & Furious-Supervised and King Kong 360 3D.
With the safety and well-being of guests and team members a top priority for Universal Studios Hollywood, the following guidelines include new health and safety protocols for the theme park, which are also detailed in this video and on the Universal Studios Hollywood website.
- Temperature control for all guests upon arrival. If the temperature is 100.4° Fahrenheit / 38° Celsius or higher, guests will not be admitted.
- All guests must cover their faces during their stay. Face coverings are also available for purchase.
- Controlled capacity at the amusement park and limited number of people at all CityWalk locations to ensure physical distance. Some areas and programs may be temporarily closed.
- Strict cleaning and disinfection of all food storage areas, toilets and all other key contact points.
- Practice physical distance in all areas of the park and in rides and attractions.
- Food and drinks are only allowed in the designated areas.
- Contactless payment methods where possible.
