Marvel and Lucasfilm have announced a bounty hunter war. This new comic crossover event will focus on Boba Fett and will take place between the events of The Empire Strikes Back and The Return of the Jedi Knights. More specifically, he will focus on Fett’s mission to deliver Han Solo, frozen in carbonite, to Jabba the Hutt. What we didn’t understand on the screen was that this was a dangerous mission.
Bounty Hunter War tells the story of Boba Fett’s experiences on his journey to deliver Han Solo to Jabba the Hutt. From May to October, we went with Alpha Bounty Hunter War #1 by Charles Soule and artist Steve McNiven. Soule says it’s the best work he’s ever done. For those who know his work in a galaxy far, far away, it really means something. Sul had to talk about how he came up with the idea.

and apparently doesn’t lead Han Solo directly to Jabba’s palace. Something must have happened between the Empire and the Jedi back then. And I am: I want to tell this story, and I want it to be about Boba Fett and what happened to him.
The event will be extensive, like many Marvel Comics crossovers. It will build on the current progression of The Empire Strikes Back story told in the Star Wars series. The titles of the events are Star Wars, Bounty Hunters, Darth Vader and Dr. Aphra. The five-part miniseries Bounty Hunter War by Charles Soule and Luke Ross is central to this story. It starts in June. Marvel has released a pair of announcements highlighting some of the problems Boba Fett encountered in creating his solos for Jabba. The main story we’re dealing with is Boba Fett’s crime epic, in which Boba Fett battles the galaxy’s toughest killers. This is Jabba the Hutt. It’s the Black Sun. It’s Darth Vader. And a lot of other things, factions and other things, that I think will be really interesting to the fans. In fact, it’s Boba Fett, alone, against all those people ….. Boba Fett is owned by Han Solo at the end of The Empire Strikes Back, not at the beginning of the Bounty Hunter War. And he will do everything in his power to get it back, no matter what. It doesn’t matter who gets in the way.
Boba Fett is going through a great time right now. Hero made his long-awaited return in season 2 of Mandalorian Empire. And this comic book crossover is just the tip of the iceberg. Lucasfilm is currently filming The Book of Boba Fett, which is due out on Disney+ in December. Fett is finally in the spotlight.
