Bekah tries to reach her father (Photo: )
Is the city of Holby the most dangerous hospital in the country? It was risky enough to pull the strings of Cameron (Nick Jackman) and let people die, whether they wanted to or not (usually).
We can now add Sasha’s new bride (Bob Barrett) and Jody Hospital volunteer (Sian Riese-Williams) to the list of risk factors – as we have just seen her beloved daughter Bekah (Francesca Barrett) poisoned.
Of course, that’s what happens when you try to get between Jody and her husband. That’s why Dominic (David Ames), Donna (Jay Jacobs), Fletch (Alex Walkinshaw), Lucky Simpson (Vinita Richey) and especially Jacques (Rosie Marcelle) should avoid any tea lady’s party.
They all talked to their grieving friend, and Dominic asked Sasha if he was in a hurry to find Jody. If you know, you know, Sascha answered. I knew it, Dominic said. I was her bridesmaid. I wore it on my wedding day. Your marriage. That reference to Essie made Sasha angry because he can’t hear the truth.
Bekah got a little close to Sasha, and that was a threat to Jody. She tried to give Beca a little glow-in-the-dark Christmas tree, and when Beca refused, Jody crushed him in her hand until he bled.

That’s what we’re dealing with. So, is Beca gonna be okay? Will Sasha understand what Jody did? And that will be the call he needs?
Not so sure about Darwin, where Kian (Ramina Karimloo)’s determination to remain drug-free lasted until his dealer Sarah Jane (Rosa Escoda) showed up with a bunch of pills and an unconscious assistant who was another regular customer of Sarah Jane and had taken an overdose.
If it had been discovered, the scandal would have been huge. So Sarah Jane threw herself at Keanu’s mercy to cover the whole thing. The pressure became too much for him, and soon Jack noticed that he was pale and sweaty, and started to make himself unsinkable again.
Towards the end of the episode, after MP Sarah Jane was arrested in the hospital garden, Kian decides to throw the pills in the trash. The love of the glorious Jack Naylor would be enough to calm his restless spirit, he decided. But maybe not, because he was last seen taking pills out of the garbage, just in case…
Cameron’s smug behavior (Photo: )
Now that Cameron is on the board as an advisor, he has become even more complacent, but otherwise he hasn’t changed a single iota. When the cute Louis (Tyler Luke Cunningham) asks him to bring some ideas to the board, Cameron does so – but presents them as complaints because he doesn’t like Louis.
Nicki (Belinda Owusu) heard Louis talking to Chloe (Amy Lennox) and the two friends had an altercation. Then Nikki reported back to Cam and said: I’m not a man. Her statement was that Chloe was jealous that Nicky and Cam were a couple. When Chloe told them she was staying at Angel’s for Christmas, she assumed she might want to move for good.
I think they were hoping they’d say no, but they didn’t. Cameron looked even more smug than before, but Chloe told him it was only a matter of time.
And we know that Max (Joe Martin) has secretly reported the hospital’s budgetary restrictions and has paid for the PSA’s and nurses’ services at his own expense.
Inevitably, his account ran out. Fletch, who didn’t realize that Max was paying for everything herself, got angry with her when she said they couldn’t afford any more temps. Poor Max.
