Next Generation Nursing Test (NEXT) is a national entrance exam conducted for admissions into nursing colleges in India. It is usually held twice a year, once in March and the other in October. The exam is conducted to provide recruitment to nursing colleges. The exam is administered by the Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS) and conducted by the National Council of Aptitude (NCA) in collaboration with the DGHS.

What is the next exam?

The first level exam can be taken by final year students, but those wishing to take the second level exam must have completed the MBBS program and an internship. The internship program lasts for three years after passing the NEXT 1 exam. Students who started the MBBS program in 2017 will take the NEXT exam for the first time in 2022. Approval of the examination NEXT

Age limits for NEXTexaminations

All students between the age of 21 and 30 years can participate in the NEET PG entrance exams. The same age limit applies here. There are no specific age rules, as all students who have successfully completed their final year of MBBS can appear for the NEXT exam.

Number of attempts for NEXT tests

When we talk about the number of attempts each student is entitled to, we are talking about an unlimited number of attempts. Yes, it is very important to get the NEXT 1 level to complete the MBBS and do a PG course or do an internship and get NEXT 2. If you fail the NEXT 1 exam, you must retake your final year of MBBS and retake the NEXT exam the following year.
