The Los Angeles Lakers are reportedly about to make a deal to acquire Dennis Schroeder of Oklahoma City Thunder in exchange for the election of the 28th in the upcoming 2020 NBA, according to ESPN’s Adrian Voynarovski.

The Los Angeles Lakers are negotiating an agreement with Oklahoma City to sell security guard Dennis Schroeder, sources reported ESPN. It is expected that the MAC will return to number 28 of the lottery selection procedure, as foreseen in Wednesday’s draft. The transaction can be executed on Monday at noon (Eastern time).

The surprise for many was that the Twitter universe finally got a mixed reaction from fans responding to the new commercial situation between the two teams. Many expressed their disappointment with the thunder, which could potentially free up a productive Schröder participant and not get the right value in exchange for next season’s campaign.

Don’t do that, Thunder. You can get WAYY for less than an unnecessary choice of 28.

This must not be permitted

Despite the opposition, the Purple and Gold fans enthusiastically welcome an experienced veteran in exchange for a newcomer who may be stuck at the bottom of their pile.

A handful of supporters also became de facto basketball analysts and expressed their feelings about the consequences of the agreement for both teams.

A giant pickup for the Lakers was probably there with Danny and Kuza for the payday game, but that’s all the Lakers need for an offensive playmaker who can shoot, come to the edge and pass, and a great defender!

It’s good for both imos. I have a feeling Schroeder is being underestimated. And the OCC has just made a good choice for its bright future.

For the Lakers we often use Schroeder (a very good player) to make decisions we don’t need. In the meantime, the OKC can develop further in the future.

In addition to the interest of the Lakers, Schroeder organized a roundtable discussion in the off-season, after he had become an integral part of Thunder, which had exceeded all expectations last season. Dennis Schroeder scored 18.9 points, 4.0 assists and 3.6 rebounds on average for Team Oklahoma City in 65 games.

In the end, Thunder closed another season with a record time of 44:28, finishing fifth in the busy Western Conference. The team’s promising play-offs were interrupted on the track when they lost to the Houston Rockets in seven games.

After an impressive performance, former head coach Billy Donovan unexpectedly broke away from the organization and packed his bags in Chicago. Dennis Schroeder could be next in a few months, and it remains to be seen if he will actually come to Los Angeles to help the Lakers in their attempt to win the runner-up spot in the series.
