Brown guard Miles Garrett makes the tackle against the Chiefs.

After the Cleveland Browns’ loss against the Kansas City Chiefs, there has been a lot of talk about Mac Wilson’s hit on Patrick Mahomes to knock out the favorite for the MVP.

Some blamed Wilson for the shooting error, including Mahomes’ mother, although it’s clear from the replay that he didn’t mean to hurt the Chiefs’ quarterback. In the end, it was a clumsy play that left Mahomes in an uproar after contact.

Browns defender Myles Garrett defended Wilson after the game, saying he doesn’t shoot for impact with his head.

I mean, no one on our team hunts, stalks or tries to hurt anyone, no matter how good they are, Garrett said. We pray for his recovery and we pray for his success. He has always been a man of quality and the way he does things for the community. He is a leader on and off the field that is greatly appreciated, especially in a man of this caliber who always tries to be a positive force wherever he goes.

#Browns OF Miles Garrett said some #Chiefs players, including Travis Kelce, felt LB Mac Wilson was the main hunter for QB Patrick Mahomes. Garrett said we are trying to play the game the way it should be played and Kelce is passionate because Mahomes is his man.

Wilson had many replacements after the game, from Garrett to quarterback Baker Mayfield.

I didn’t see the exact move, but Mack is not a bad player, Mayfield told reporters. It’s not. If someone really thinks that way, then it’s their own opinion to keep it that way. Like I said, I hope Pat is okay, and like I said, Mac is not okay.

Travis Kelce was one of the Chiefs’ players and said the shot could have been more intentional.

You never want to say someone intentionally left someone out, Kelce said of Kansas City’s star writer Sam McDowell. But they flew, and after the first shot, they were on fire and said, This is what we do, this is what we do.

and their actors. It was mostly about competition. I feel they are good people and I respect many of them for that, especially Miles. (Ends)

So there were a lot of conversations between me and the players. It was mostly about competition. I really feel like they’re good people, and I respect a lot of them for that, especially Miles [Garrett].

Mac Wilson eliminates Patrick Mahomes

GettyChiefs QB Patrick Mahomes exited Sunday’s AFC Division game in the third quarter with a concussion.

Wilson was quick to shake Mahomes’ hand after the game and wished the quarterback good health and protection.

I’ve never been a bad gambler. I’m just trying to play fast and loose. Try not to insult me and keep your threats to yourself, Wilson wrote on Twitter. Prayers for Patrick Mahomes. I pray you are back next week! Go be as great as you were!

Prayers for @PatrickMahomes . I pray you are back next week! Go be as awesome as you were! ❤️

Mahomes quickly responded to Wilson and gave him complete clarity on the situation.

Good brother! Mahomes wrote.

Chiefs give positive information on Patrick Mahomes

With the win over the Browns in the bag, the focus is on the AFC Champions League in Kansas City. Nevertheless, Mahomes health will be an important factor for the future. Fortunately Mahomes seems to be doing well, all things considered.

He was hit in the back of the head and his breath stopped, so to speak, and everything else, Reed said. He’s doing very well at the moment, which is very positive when you look at him. He sent through all the offers he needed to see what came out.

Next week, the Chiefs will compete for a spot in the Super Bowl. Kansas City wants to become the first champion to repeat the feat since the Patriots won the Super Bowl in 2004 and 2005 with victories in Super Bowl XXXVIII and XXXIX.

Kansas City is a +200 betting favorite to win the Super Bowl, according to the DraftKings sports book.
