After returning to the NFL last season, Antonio Brown will be a free agent this season. The former All-Pro had some positive points in 11 games with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. Brown had two postseason touchdowns, including one in the Buccaneers’ Super Bowl victory.

Although he did not participate in the Tampa Bay offense, Brown showed in Week 17 that he is still the number one receiver. After 15 attempts, Brown finished with 11 holds for 138 yards and two touchdown receptions.

If some teams still need a wide receiver, let’s look at teams where Brown will be a necessity and not a luxury. With that in mind, let’s take a look at the three teams that need to contract a star receiver.

3. Washington Soccer Team

The Washington football team won the worst division in football. Even without a record of wins, Washington made it to the playoffs before losing the wild card weekend.

If Washington can’t change the quarterback position this season, it will still have a healthy Alex Smith at center. 2020 Player of the Year The return of the Player of the Year led Washington to a 5-1 record last season.

Brown’s signature would be an important gesture for Washington. Aside from Terry McLaurin, who ran for over 1,000 yards last season, Washington has no playmakers among its receivers. Add Brown to McLaurin and Washington would have one of the best receiver duos in the NFL.

Thanks to this new duo of receivers and Washington’s trio of defenders, the offense is expected to improve greatly from 25th in points per game in 2020.

After signing Brown, Washington should have everything it needs to be competitive in the NFC. This includes a solid defense led by rookie Chase Young, experienced coach Ron Rivera and a more dynamic offense.

2. Miami Dolphins

In their second year under the leadership of Brian Flores, the Miami Dolphins have made great strides in the rebuilding process. The Dolphins’ only problem is the quarterback. Miami played against Tua Tagovailoa and Ryan Fitzpatrick during the 2020 season.

Unlike fellow recruiters Justin Herbert and Joe Burrow, Tagovailoa has not yet established himself at the NFL level. The Dolphins could help their young quarterback by contracting Antonio Brown.

Last season, Miami didn’t have a single receiver who gained more than 1,000 yards. It’s a feat Brown has accomplished in six consecutive seasons from 2013-18.

Wide receiver DeVante Parker and back Mike Gesicki are good players, but they are not as talented as Brown.

Tagovailoa is used to playing with incredibly talented receivers he can rely on. At the University of Alabama, Tagovailoa played with Jerry Jeudy and Henry Ruggs, who were both first-round position players. Not to mention Devonte Smith, who was the winner of the Heisman 2020 Award.

By contracting Brown, the Dolphins will be able to evaluate Tagovailoa more easily. If he can’t get them to the playoffs after being a true NO. 1 receiver, he can’t be their quarterback anyway.

1. Baltimore Crows

Of the three teams mentioned, the Baltimore Ravens are the only team to have expressed interest in Brown’s signature so far. Last season, before Brown left the Buccaneers, the Ravens had interest in him. Even the Ravens’ quarterback, Lamar Jackson, was hoping the former Pro Bowler would sign with the team.

Unlike last season, Brown is no longer considered a locker room cancer and no longer has an eight-game suspension to his name.

The acquisition of Brown would have a direct impact on the Ravens’ biggest weakness, which is effective pitching on the field. Baltimore comes in with 171 yards per game, the NFL’s hedge fund. With Brown on the field, Baltimore becomes a more balanced offense than it needs to be to get to the Super Bowl.

It should be noted that Mr Brown already has family connections within the Ravens organisation. The Ravens’ current top receiver, marquee Hollywood Brown, is the nephew of Antonio Brown. Baltimore not only needs receivers for Brown, but they also have a locker room that will gladly take him.
